E-mail Setup in Microsoft Outlook
 
Make sure that you have your Coastinet.com email address.

1. Double click the Outlook Express icon on your desktop.

2. After the Outlook Express software loads, select the "Tools" menu then "Accounts".

3. Click the "Add" button and select "Mail".

4. Under "Display Name" type in your name.

 
5. Click the "Next" button.

6. In "Email Address" type in your email Coastinet.com address.

 
 
7. Click the "Next" button

8. In "My Incoming Mail Server", select "POP3".

9. Type mail.coastinet.com in the Incoming Mail POP Server.

10. Type mail.coastinet.com in the Outgoing Mail SMTP Server.

 
 
11. Click the "Next" button.

12. Account Name - Enter the first part of your e-mail address before the @ sign. Example: Joesmith from the e-mail address joesmith@coastinet.com

13. Password - type in your Password for (remember passwords are case sensitive).

 
 
14. Click the "Next" button then click the "Finish" button.

15. On the Internet accounts screen that appears click on the "Mail" tab.

16. Click on the properties tab.

 
 
17. Click on the "My server requires authentication" check box.
 
 
18. Click the "OK" button

19. On the Internet Accounts windows click the "Close" button.

20. Click the Send/Recv button to receive any mail that may be in your mail box.

You are now ready to send and receive e-mail through Outlook Express using your Coastinet.com e-mail account.
